My name is Kavita Saney, I am a UX Designer based in San Francisco Bay area.
At heart I am a curious soul, always observing, learning, designing, making. I have a strong affinity for great ideas, human-centred design process, wireframing, prototyping, minimalism, grids and delightful user experience. I try to include the same elements in my own work. Currently I work at Native Design to create user-focused futuristic product experiences in collaboration with industrial, visual and motion designers.
Over the years, I have worked with varied media and forms – Experience design, Mobile Apps, Websites/Ecommerce, Television, Print, Book Design, Brand Identity and Packaging. I believe having the advertising and UX experience sets me apart from others who tend to have one or the other. My advertising background gives me a flair for creative ideas and great design aesthetic, while my HCI learning enables me to design efficient user interfaces. This helps me strike a perfect balance between creativity and functionality.
Having executed many creative solutions in my career, I tend to favor results-driven practices. I feel comfortable and confident in leading and collaborating across teams. I thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, working side-by-side with cross-functional teams consisting of copywriters, project managers, business owners, marketing strategists and developers. Having experienced both Asian and American cultures gives my creativity a perspective that is global in its appeal.
